It seems like everywhere I turn these days, people are talking about freelancing, running their own businesses, and escaping the rat race. Though I enjoy being a bit contrarian regarding trends, in this case I’m totally on board.
So here’s my contribution to the trend, my Ultimate List of Freelance Resources.

Hi Joshua,
What a comprehensive list. I’m not looking to freelance (yet), but when I am, I know where to find the best list of resources. Thanks for all of your hard work in compiling this.
Wonderful list, thank you so much for taking the time to compile it. I can’t wait for the next installment!
@Barbara: You’re welcome. Fortunately, it wasn’t really that much work. I bookmark lots of posts about freelancing when I’m just browsing the web for fun. The only part that involved work was writing the two line summaries. :-)
@Angie: Thanks for the compliment. I should have the next installment out before too long!
Hi Joshua,
This is my first time to your blog and I loved your very comprehensive list. I have bookmarked the page so that I can read each link at my leisure. I have to say I love number 4 as this really applies to me and there was some valuable information here. Getting work done with small children can be a real chore. Many thanks for sharing all this great info.
Amanda
@ Amanda: I definitely understand where you are coming from. Trying to work with children around can be very difficult even if they’re amazingly well behaved. I’m glad that you’re finding the list (and #4 especially) helpful!
